Disney just released some surprising news earlier this evening, and it looks like we will see 2020 ticket sales resume tomorrow, July 9th! This is rather unexpected since just a few weeks ago Disney announced that 2020 ticket sales were set to resume at some point later this summer. But now, we should be able to purchase new 2020 tickets and vacation packages much sooner than expected – and less than twenty-four hours since Disney’s announcement about this change!

Also resuming tomorrow is Walt Disney World Resort Hotel bookings for the rest of 2020. New 2020 resort hotel bookings have been on hold for a while just like 2020 ticket sales, but now guests will once again be able to book resort stays on Disney property for the remainder of the year.

Ticket and resort packages for 2021 went on sale on June 24th, so guests have already begun planning their trips for next year. Anyone visiting the parks within the next year will need to not only have valid tickets or an Annual Pass in order to enter the parks, but they will also need to make park reservations for each day of their trip via Disney’s new Park Pass System.
